Board of Directors

The functions and powers of the corporation shall be conducted in Vinton, Iowa, and be directed by the members of the Board of Directors of Virginia Gay Hospital, Inc.  The Board of Directors shall consist of nine (9) members.  One of the directors shall be the Mayor of the City of Vinton, Iowa.  Two directors shall be appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council of the City of Vinton for such terms as the City Council shall affix.  One of these appointments shall be a physician in active practice and a resident of Benton County, Iowa.  The third director appointed by the City of Vinton shall be a resident of Benton County, Iowa.
